Electric strike series C15102 & 15110 available in Fail Secure configuration operating in 8V – 12V AC/DC including an activation/deactivation switch (ON-OFF), with (Anti-Repeat). It also provides an adjustable latch and one can find this particular product attached to PVC Entrance building doors and similarly to Security doors, regardless of the finishing. It is manufactured by the Italian corporation CISA.
The different variants of Electric strikes operate by enabling the connectivity of the lock with the entry phone intercom placed in the entrance of the building. This happens by pressing the button (receiver). With that way, when a call takes place, by pressing the button, electrical power of lower voltage (12v or 24v) triggers the strike itself, which unlocks and in that precise moment the latch of the lock is released; allowing the door, where the strike is installed, to open with a medium boost.
This particular model made by CISA also includes an ON-OFF switch with an activation mode of Anti-Repeat. How it works: Position (1) On, the use of strike for entering or exiting is controlled. Position (2) Off, the strike is out of order and the entering or exiting is limited and restricted.
The adjustable latch included in the basic operation of the electric strike serves the installation, because it can be altered by even 4 mm finding the perfect spot and complying with the model of the door itself that is going to be attached to. Last but not least, the body of the electric strike is available in grey colour that can be detached or reverse, in either right or left side, resulting in an ease installation. The body of the strike is available in two different versions. The first one with parallel openings (holes) that can reach a width of 250 millimeters in total. The second one with a basic opening (hole) with an overall width of 280 millimeters.
This product operates with a fail secure configuration. In this configuration, applying electric current to the strike will cause it to unlock. Finally, it operates in 8V – 12V AC/DC (voltage based on the entry phone intercom).
