Description

Protective round covering of the lock’s cylinder (defender), ‘MRM29‘ of magnetic functionality, by the Italian company DISEC, with its main body and the rotator to be manufactured using hardened steel. This product is bolted in the body of each lock and is being suitable for Security Doors, regardless of their finishing and production model.

Defender is a protective covering capable of boosting the burglary resistant of each lock, where is installed. On the new models of locks, with the cylinder of the locking mechanism can be removed, defender acts as a necessary part completing the whole package.  With the various techniques and attempts of breaking in, to take place and since the defender is “in the front line” of the burglar’s attack, it plays a very important role of the overall efficiency of the Doors protection. It can be adjusted (bolt-on) on the main body of the lock itself and its use can define this extra mile of protection for the cylinder.

MRM29 (main body in Mag Round and Monolito covering) functions by a magnetic feature and the unlocking of this defender can be done exclusively with the use of the special made magnetic key. Boosting its security levels, the struggling burglar has not direct contact with the mouthpiece of the lock’s cylinder. The package includes two (2) pieces of magnetic keys (rotation for unlocking only through the use of the magnetic keys / locking with either the use of the magnetic keys or manually, as you can see here). These magnetic keys are unique and non-duplicated, while every piece of an extra magnetic key can be created only using the key card (for authorised key duplication only) that accompany this product.

For the construction of the main body, the rotator and the rosette a reinforced steel has been used. This adds an extra resistant to drill attacks or snapping (anti-drilling & snap resistant). It is attached upon the main body of the lock with stay-bolts. This results in preventing the possible attempt of its removal from the exterior side of the Door.

Its length is adjustable and with that method it can be adjusted upon the Door itself. The overall thickness of the main body can reach 25 millimeters, the rosette is of 5 millimeters and the diameter can reach 50 millimeters. The two screws accompany the product have the dimensions of: Μ6 L. 45mm. You can pick this product among our three range of colours: inox – bronze – gold.
