Protective round covering of the lock’s cylinder (defender), ‘BKS200 Monolito Kripton Monolito‘ manufactured by the Italian company DISEC with its main body, the rotator and the rosette to be manufactured using hardened steel. The four carbide bars offer strength against drilling attacks (anti-drilling). The amplified rosette by a 13 millimeter steel, reinforces the total tensile strength up to 4200 kilograms and it is being able to resist again snapping (snap resistant). This prevents burglaries with metal pipes. It also includes two steel spheres not allowing its removal.
Defender is a protective covering capable of boosting the burglary resistant of each lock, where is installed. On the new models of locks, with the cylinder of the locking mechanism can be removed, defender acts as a necessary part completing the whole package. With the various techniques and attempts of breaking in, to take place and since the defender is “in the front line” of the burglar’s attack, it plays a very important role of the overall efficiency of the Doors protection. It can be adjusted (bolt-on) on the main body of the lock itself and its use can define this extra mile of protection for the cylinder.

It is attached upon the main body of the lock with stay-bolts. This results in preventing the possible attempt of its removal from the exterior side of the Door.
